How to get there?

Launched at the dawn of the new millennium, this great event has been enthusiastically received by the public since its inception. The event shines light on life in the mid-1800s by exploring the craftsmanship of the era and the traditional know-how of craftmakers, from here and abroad.

The Festival Métiers & Traditions de Longueuil (previously "Festival des Vieux métiers de Longueuil ") brings together over 75 craftmakers capable of demonstrating and illustrating the fabrication of 50 different traditional crafts.

Each year, a new country is invited to share its traditions. In the past, the festival has honoured countries such as France and the United States by receiving distinguished craftmakers from these countries.
